I have a PhD in Molecular Bio and Biochemistry from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. I am currently doing research on the proteins that regulate neurotransmitter release in the brain at Yale University in the lab of the 2013 Nobel prize winner James Rothman. I also run a business, Vitae Essentia, that sells handmade all natural bath, body, and home care products. In my free time, I am obsessed with all things business, fitness, making cold process soap, and wheel thrown pottery (mostly Raku). My other passions are traveling, anthropology, plants, and ethnobotany.
